Objective Characteristics of Good Art

Many times, it made me think logically about art and design. It's inspired me to try to distill objective technical elements in designs and artworks so that I might strive for equivalent worth in my own work. While art is subjective in general, I believe there are some characteristics that "wow-effect" drawings and paintings have. The perfect quantity of details, skillful use of light and shadow, fascinating color choices, a believable and suitable perspective, and an artistically beautiful composition are all common hallmarks of successful art.   The Amount Of Information   Using the appropriate quantity of details can improve the appearance of a drawing. Details, in essence, offer the eye something to look at. Often, an intricately crafted design with numerous details is far more intriguing than a drawing consisting just of broad plain shapes.
